Founder • President

Ole started the company in 2002 based on a passion for hands-on projects and a genuine love for helping his neighbors. These days, Ole stays connected behind the scenes, but he trusts his skilled team to carry the torch.

When he's not enjoying his retirement, he loves to camp, do carpentry work, and take care of the landscaping around the office.

General Manager

Colt will likely be your first and main point of contact on the Ole Bergman team. He does the initial site evaluations, delivers quotes, and does the quality check to be sure you're satisfied with our work. 

In his spare time, Colt enjoys fishing, smoking meat, or traveling the world with his family.

Office & Accounts Manager

For the past six years, Sara has kept things running smoothly at Ole Bergman. From HR and billing to accounts and on-site purchases, she’s our go-to for all things office-related.

Outside of work, she loves lake days with her fiancé, coaching CrossFit as a side hobby, and visiting her adorable nieces.

Operator

Fred has been an operator with Ole Bergman Excavating for nine years, known for his quality work, flexibility, and attention to detail. From precision digging to adapting on the fly, he gets it done right.

Outside of work, he enjoys spending time in the great outdoors, especially fishing and hunting.

Operator

With multiple years of experience running excavators and other "big toys", Julian is a seasoned operator who knows how to get the job done right. He’s known on-site for his precision and reliability.

When he’s not moving dirt, you’ll likely find Julian cooking up something hearty or getting lost in the woods with his dog.

Truck Driver

Nate keeps things moving by delivering gravel, fill dirt, bark chips, decorative rocks, and more –  and hauling away what you don’t need. A precision driver, he handles tight spaces with ease and brings a can-do attitude to every job.

In his free time, Nate enjoys fishing, camping with family, visiting relatives, and cheering for the Oregon Ducks.

Laborer

Jared has been a dedicated member of the team for 7 years, bringing steady effort and a strong work ethic to every job. He’s reliable, hardworking, and always ready to lend a hand.

When he’s off the clock, Jared enjoys watching football, playing ice hockey, hitting the gym, and spending quality time with his kids.

Laborer

For 5 years, Jorge has been a key part of the team, mastering the skid steer, excavator, and more. He’s always in motion – even jumping in to help clients chop wood – and is the definition of a can-do attitude.

Off-site, you’ll find Jorge enjoying beach days, riding horseback, tending to his goats, or cruising around on two wheels.

Laborer

Cade joined the team as a Laborer in January 2025, bringing a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn. We’re excited to have him on the crew and honored to add his expertise to the team.

Outside of work, he enjoys all out outdoor activities – from mechanics and welding, to hunting, fishing, and hiking.
